    • Pavement Coffeehouse is an independently owned unionized coffee company with eight stores, roasting all their own coffee, baking bagels fresh daily, and educating their staff about specialty coffee production
    • Hired at Newbury Street location, which is known for high-volume and high-standard service
    • Promoted to supervisor and completed training in September 2021, less than a month after hire
    • “Floater” employee during temporary store closure, meant that I was an on-call substitute for all other stores, picking up barista and supervisor shifts at other locations as needed
    • Responsibilities included: Key-holder for four stores, opening and closing duties, food/paper stock inventory, placing food/coffee/milk/paper orders, leading shifts open-to-close, covering breaks, maintaining sanitary conditions, deep cleaning, cash handling, drawer counting, giving team members feedback to maintain service standards
    • General staff duties like register, espresso bar service, making sandwiches, dishes, etc.
